Dead Like Me Season 2 is if anything, even better than the first season. George is starting to figure her place out in the After Life and is becoming more confident as she reaps. She’s still keeping a close eye on her family, especially her sister Reggie, who now firmly believes George is alive.
We also explore more of the other characters lives, and Daisy gets a love interest in Eric McCormack’s cameo as Ray. But Ray isn’t all he seems and his violent behaviour turns Daisy off, especially as he creeps even Rube out! Mason is the perpetual screw up he always is, but in the late half of the season, you see a heart developing, though its very well hidden.
Rube goes on a mission to find out what happened to his family after his death, after a package he sent them was never delivered.
Roxy quits her job as a Meter Maid and becomes a police officer which makes the tough vixen even tougher.
Kiffany the waitress at the gang’s hangout is mysterious as usual with her comments, Delores (George’s boss) is as bright as ever and Crystal (The Receptionist) has a boyfriend!
So in all, a fantastic season and I’m very sad that’s all we got from this show. Looking forward to the movie coming out next year though!
